Man, I’ve had one helluva day… ain’t shit going right for me! This damn merger seems to be falling through the cracks and I can’t afford for this not to come together. Although I’m financially stable, this merger with Bob Harrington Motors will catapult my business to the next level. I eventually plan on buying ole Bob Harrington out.

I told Dionne that I would take her out to dinner tonight but now all I want to do is go home and crash. Sometimes, I just want to sleep in my own bed. I don’t want to have to get up only to take a shower to wash her scent off me, and then drive home in the middle of the night.

After a while that shit gets tiresome. Her ass is just going to have to be mad tonight because I am taking my black ass home. I will make it up to her later on this week. I decide to shoot her a text, instead of calling her. This way I can avoid all of the whining and crying about me not coming over. I pick up my cell phone and start texting Dionne…

Hey babe, sorry but I’m not going to make it tonight. I promise to make it up to you later on this week…

I hit send on the text and then I turn my phone off because I know that she is going to be pissed, and I just don’t feel like all of the drama tonight.

I pull into the garage and I can see that Cherish is home. Lately she has been giving me the silent treatment, which is fine with me. We live like roommates, who barely see or speak to each other.

I can’t even remember the last time that we had sex. I walk into the house and I don’t smell shit cooking, so I guess that I will have to order a pizza or go hungry. Even when she is upset with me she cooks.

But she hasn’t been the same ever since she decided to pull her little disappearing act on me. I can’t really blame her though . . . because even when I’m here, my mind is somewhere else.

But damn, a nigga is hungry as fuck!

Cherish is sitting on the couch on her laptop, with music softly playing in the background. She looks so beautiful sitting there in her black boy shorts and matching pink and black tank top.

I see that she’s cut her hair and I must admit it that it looks good on her…it gives her an edgier look. I feel my dick getting hard and I’m tempted to make love to her. But she will probably turn me down. As a man, that will only fuck with my ego. Therefore, I just mumble hello and then I head upstairs to take a shower.

After I shower and throw on some navy blue Polo pajama bottoms and a white wife beater, I go down stairs and fix myself a drink. I take a shot of Grey Goose and it burns so good, going down my throat.
